Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2026

At Coqtest (accessible via https://coqtest.com), this page sets out the terms that apply when you browse our website or buy from it. It covers who can order, how an order becomes a contract, how we handle payment, and what each of us is responsible for.

We sell necklaces, rings, and bracelets, often bought as gifts and often ordered against a date. Clear terms matter more in that situation than in most, so this page is written to be read rather than scrolled past.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. If a question about them is not answered here, email us at [email protected] and we will be glad to help.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and Coqtest for your use of https://coqtest.com and any order you place through it. They work together with our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Cancel & Change Order Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy, and Payment Methods pages, each of which is part of these terms.

2. About the Business

Coqtest is an online retailer of women's jewelry operating from Southbury, Connecticut. We sell to customers across the United States through this website only. Our full contact details are in section 20.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, and the shipping address must be within the United States. By ordering, you confirm both. A parent or guardian may order on behalf of someone younger.

4. Products

Everything we sell is ready-made, stocked inventory held on hand before it is listed. Our necklaces, rings, and bracelets are fashion jewelry with gold tone, silver tone, or rose tone finishes over base metals, and the materials of each piece are stated in its description. We describe pieces as accurately as we can; screens render metal tones differently, and small variations in finish between pieces of the same style are normal. A special order item is a product not held in stock that we order from a supplier at your request; it is a standard supplier item, not produced or altered for one customer.

5. Pricing

Prices are shown in US Dollars and may change without notice; the price shown at the time you complete checkout is the price you pay. If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price, such as a missing digit, we will contact you before shipping to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund the order, at your choice. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges the offer; the order is accepted when the piece ships and a tracking number is sent to you. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example when a piece has sold out, a payment cannot be authorized, or an address cannot be served, and we refund anything charged in full.

7. Payment and Billing

Payment is taken at checkout through the PayPal gateway, which handles PayPal, debit card, and credit card payments and holds PCI DSS certification. We take one-time charges only and never see or store your full card number. If a payment fails authorization, no order is created and nothing is charged. If you dispute a charge with your bank or with PayPal, please email us first; most issues are resolved within a day, and we cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation.

8. Shipping

Rates, timelines, carriers, and what we do about lost, damaged, or delayed parcels are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates; we tell you about delays before you have to ask.

9. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Stopping or changing an order is governed by our Cancel & Change Order Policy. Both pages form part of these terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You may use the website to browse and buy. You may not use it to place fraudulent orders, test stolen payment details, scrape content, interfere with the site's operation, or impersonate another person. We may cancel orders and block access where we see any of these.

11. Intellectual Property

The text, photographs, and design of this website belong to Coqtest or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Any other reproduction needs our written consent. Our process for reporting content you believe infringes your rights is in our DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website links to PayPal and to the carriers that deliver our parcels. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and its content are provided as they are. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not limit the commitments we make to you in our Return & Refund Policy or any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, including shipping. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to hold Coqtest harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be heard in the state or federal courts serving New Haven County, Connecticut, and you consent to that venue.

17. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in effect and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable.

18. Entire Agreement

These terms and the policy pages they reference make up the whole agreement between you and us for your use of the website and your orders. No oral statement changes them.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision, and the terms in force when you place an order govern that order.

20. Contact
