Payment Methods

Payment Methods

Last Updated: October 2026

At Coqtest (accessible via https://coqtest.com), this page lists the ways you can pay, how your payment is protected, when the charge happens, and what to do if a payment does not go through.

A gift ring is often bought from a different card than the everyday one, or paid for by a family member in another state. Knowing exactly what we accept and when the charge lands takes the guesswork out of that.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. If a payment question is not answered here, email us at [email protected] and we will be glad to help.

Methods We Accept

  • PayPal: log in to your PayPal account at checkout and confirm the payment there.
  • Debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover debit cards, entered on the card form at checkout.
  • Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, entered on the same card form.

The PayPal Gateway

Every payment, including card payments, is processed through PayPal's gateway, which holds PCI DSS certification. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by card: choose the card option at checkout and enter your details on PayPal's secure form.

Payment Security

Your card number goes from your browser to PayPal over an encrypted connection and never passes through our website or our records. We receive a transaction reference and the amount, nothing more. We take one-time charges only; there are no subscriptions or stored-card charges.

When You Are Charged

The charge is made at checkout, once PayPal or your card issuer authorizes it. Your confirmation email is sent at the same time. If we later cancel an order for any reason, the full amount is refunded to the same method.

Currency and Foreign Transaction Fees

All prices are in US Dollars and all charges are made in US Dollars. If your card was issued outside the United States, your issuer may add a foreign transaction fee or apply its own exchange rate; those are set by the issuer, not by us.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable, based on the shipping address, and shown as a separate line before you confirm payment.

Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment is declined, nothing is charged and no order is created; you can try again right away. The common causes are a mistyped card number or expiry date, a billing address that does not match the card issuer's records, a daily limit on a debit card, or a fraud check from the issuer. If a second attempt fails, email us and we will look for the cause on our side.

Pending Authorizations

After a declined attempt, your bank may show a pending authorization for the order amount. That hold is not a charge and drops off within a few business days, with the timing set by your bank. If it has not cleared after 7 business days, write to us and we will confirm to your bank that no charge was taken.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the method used at checkout. How returns are handled and how long a refund takes are set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Changes to This Policy

If we add a payment method or change the gateway, this page is updated and the date at the top is revised.
